Abstract Submissions / Presentación de Abstractos

The sponsors of the 5th Tri-National Symposium Celebrating the Sonoran Desert invite abstract submissions for oral presentations and posters in four categories: natural resources, cultural resources, Native American perspectives, and Sonoran Desert foodways. Abstracts will be accepted during the whole month of December 2017.

Los patrocinadores del Simposio Tri-Nacional 2018 invitan a la subscripción de presentaciones y posters/afiches en las siguiente cuatro categorías: recursos naturales, recursos culturales, Perspectivas de tribus Nativas Americanas, y comidas tipitas del Desierto de Sonora. Los abstractos serán aceptados durante todo el mes de Diciembre 2017.

Instructions / Introducciones

1. Oral presentations should be up to 20 minutes long, plus five minutes or more for discussion and questions. / Las presentaciones orales deberán ser de aproximadamente 20 minutos, con 5 minutos adicionales para discusiones y preguntas.

2. Posters will be attached to the main auditorium walls and left on display throughout the symposium. Times will be designated for poster presentations and discussions. / Los posters/afiches serán colgados en las paredes del auditorio principal y se quedaran como muestras durante el transcurso del simposio. Habrá un tiempo asignado para la discusión de los mismos.

3. Submit your abstract by choosing the correct form below (click on "Submit" to get to the form). If your session spans categories, choose one for your submission and explain how it fits multiple categories in your narrative. Note that there is a single form for all Poster abstracts. / Presente su abstracto utilizando el formato de abajo. Si su sesión abarca más de una categoría, elija una para la subscripción de la misma y explique cómo califica a múltiples categorías en la narración.

4. You will receive a confirmation e-mail as soon as your abstract is received. Presenters will be notified by e-mail in early January regarding the status of their submission. / Usted recibirá un correo electrónico de confirmación ni bien su abstracto sea recibido. Los presentadores serán notificados por medio de correo electrónico a inicios de Enero en relación al estado de su subscripción.
